Are you kidding me? Got nothing to do with California....that is Alaska. Hockey punks getting in fights? Come on, there's a reason why per capita crime and drugs are so high in the state.

Went to check on my friend and the kid was gone. Staff working claimed to not know him. One bouncer said he looked familiar. That's it. Cops did no more than take a report as far as I know.

Sorry, but it does have a lot to do with Californication. I've been hanging around ANC since 1986. Especially since about 1995, they've had a huge influx of gangs. Bloods, Crips, some Hawaiian/Samoan gang whose name I don't remember. The Anchorage bowl has become a mini welfare state that resembles SoCal around SBD. Take some time and ask the true locals what they think about what's happening to their state. I have and its sad.
