Obviously, if you are 'young' and have been striving for a flying job for a while, you have left an electronic 'trail' that is easily Googled . .and if you say; 'I don't do that.' They KNOW you are lying!

End of interview . . AND if you say you are a 'stupidpilot' . .sheet man . . end of discussion!
Geez, lighten up guys it was a joke. Are you guys this much fun in the cockpit?

has anyone figured out the cost of fuel compared to scheduled mx on the birds. I.E. if you fly slower you accumulate more hours on the airframe, more mx on a A,B,C check. What is the break even point. I assume a C check that cost 1million plus is more expensive than the gas, or am I just a dump freight pilot.......(flame on)

Yes, someone has figured that out. I believe their title is "fuel sense bean counter".

Yeah, guys like Auburn Calloway, Captain Klepto, Bill McKelvy, Chatty, et, al, were always loads of fun to fly with.

Yea, you're a dumb freight pilot . The major cost of maintenance is driven by how many cycles and how much fatigue the aircraft has. Airframe fatigue goes up exponentially with faster speeds. There's way more to it than just how many hours you fly. Thus the reason there are actually engineers who study this stuff and MBA been counters who optimize it.

The hardest thing on our old planes is fast/abusive taxi techniques. Cargo ramps are much twistier than pax gates, and we land heavier too....
