I DH'd to ANC next to a guy (2 weeks ago) who will be over 64 years old when he finishes IOE in the left seat of the whale. No passover for you!

M,
Good to see you back, hows the kid? I think the Fedex guys have coined a great new term for the geezers, ND or Near Dead! You should make it up to the ANC crew room some day and see all the ND's with their BiFocals on, trying to read the flight paper work. Its pretty funny!

Thanks!

The little guy is great! He's already 5 months! I can't believe it....holding his own bottle, almost sitting up....next thing I know, he'll be moving out of the house! Maybe by then I'll be happy about it though...LOL!

M,

How about updating that avatar? Glad to hear all is going well with you.

I haven't heard the term ND (near dead) used anywhere in the Brown system, but I have heard a bunch of ONT guys calling the geezers "Favre's," as in Bret Favre, the guy that just won't retire.

Shaggy,

Look for me in ANC starting Sept 22nd, cause that's when I start -400 school. You'll have to give me the guided tour.

I'm not yet a geezer, farve or a ND but my parents taught me to respect my elders, something your's obviously didn't. Most people begin wearing reading glasses or bi-focals around the age of 40 which is far from a geezer. My question to you is this, considering your views on aging, do you plan on retiring when you reach the age where you need bi-focals? If your avtar reflects yoru birthdate, you better start planning as it will be soon!

I respect my elders just fine, I just think some of these guys that can't even carry their bags up the staris shouldn't be flying! I think in order to fly you should have demonstrate having to get out of the airplane window or jump out using the reel, I am sure over half of these guys could not perform that function.

To answer your other question I wear glasses already and I am sure bi-focals are just right around the corner.
