An A fund is a traditional defined benefit retirement. Work here X years and get Y percent of your pay.

Thanks Precontact. That info is very helpful for some future decisions that I will probably have to make.

Man is it time for a mid term update already. Let me see, maybe we could negotiate for them to just follow the friggin contract they signed. These schedules suck arse hard!!!

Question

Since we are talking rumors - I heard that the DHL deal won't be announced until after the election. Both presidential candidates are pushing DHL to reconsider the agreement and Obama in particular wants to secure his lead in Ohio by 'saving' Ohio jobs. My buddy says they probably won't be able to succeed but that DHL will delay announcing the agreement until after the election in order to 'stay out of the politics’...

Source - my friend who's a volunteer for the Obama camp in KY (he’s also a pilot for NWA). We seldom talk politics because we always end up arguing but what he said regarding this agreement sort of makes sense...

Ps. I hope this won’t turn into a presidential campaign thread because that's totally illegal on this forum and will land you in jail!

Well, on the IPNN they said it will take 2 more months to get it signed. That puts it oh........ right after the election. I think the rumor is true.

Until then they will start meshing the packages without making a full anouncement. It will be a stealth operation.
