UPS Rumor Mill

YGTBSM. SEC overrated? Ask Ohio State, who is from the Big X, how overrated LSU and Florida are. And before you start hurling boulders, I am an ACC guy.

BTW this thread is even further off than it was for my last post. LOL.

New Rumor!
Heard this from only one source, but is there any truth to UPS opening another hiring window this month? I heard they were planning to open it for "2 days" or something silly like that.
Guess I'll update my app....

People in training now in SDF are saying no hiring this year. If they do need people they are going to get them from the pool and not bother HR with going through the process of hiring outside of pool.

Geez, I didn't realize UPS had a "pool". They haven't hired since last fall to my knowledge, so those swimming have been there a while!
I'll go back to my basket-weaving now. I'd better get better at it considering the hiring forecasts out there...

I was just in the school house and was told that they really don't know what is going to happen until the DHL deal is signed. Was also told that when it does get signed, we do not have the lift nor the crews to handle it. Take it for what it is worth.

Speaking of rumors... How about the one that UPS is negotiating with the IPA to buy out our A Fund at $25,000 per year of service.

25,000 a year!!!!!!!!!! You smoking some serious erb dude. I heard 500K for FO's and 750K+ for CA. That was there openers according to some.
Which is around 50K+ a year minimum per year of service.
