There is absolutely no reason to go to these job fairs to grip and grin with UPS. They don't take resumes and provide very little insight except to say "it's all a computer formula". That's the truth. There's no "friends helping friends" and attending these job fairs with the hopes of getting any connection with them is an exercise in futility. Trust me, I made the mistake too. birdeat

It helped me and they even remembered a question I'd asked them at the job fair (it was about the A380 which at the time was still on order).
It's a 2-step process, first you need to get an interview but then you have to actually get hired. So basically I do agree with you that attending probably won't help with the first step of the process however it might be helpful in actually getting hired once you get the call for an interview...
I hope I'm making sense here.

I agree with what you're saying, however if you do get a call for an interview (again, a job fair probably won't help you with that) it is very helpful to have met your interviewer in the past (such as at a job fair).

On another note though, I DO NOT SUPPORT KIT DARBY!
Ok, I had to get that off my chest. That was from a previous job fare when I had an opportunity to speak with Kit and get some more mis-information from the informational services that I was paying for.
