So you're saying that the ANC SIG was saying that the MEC wasn't supporting them? If that is so, then there could be an issue there.

No, saying that it was not deemed a fight worth fighting (interpret that the way you want). My heart burn was why do we go to all the trouble if they are not going to see it to the end? If the VP tells us to, "pound sand" it is one thing. But there needs to be a unified front standing before him while he is doing it.

Contractually, it doesn't matter.
If a pairing consistently shows up in open time, it does contractually get disputed. Don't you voluntarily pick up disputed pairings?

Read away. Misinformation? How 'bout not your point of view. You just don't like being called out.

Pinseeker, Sorry but you are wrong. Gunter, I can't respond because your post doesn't make sense.

Open Mind,
Have you been known to fly disputed pairings?

Open Mind, wrong about what, the contract or you picking up disputed pairings? I reference the contract 25.BB.F.1.c. As far as you flying disputed pairings, past discussions on this board have indicated that you do fly them. So, which am I wrong about.

I don't think it is misinformation. The ANC crew force and the ANC SIG were definitely not supported in this case. Now maybe you can point out a time when a dp went as far as this one did in ANC and show me where DW did not side with the company, but I don't remember one. I could be wrong, but I doubt it...And it explains a lot about your open mindedness if you are flying dps.

I may be wrong...But, I think many on here need more than what you've given us to support the assertion that DW was on the company's side concerning the DP process. I'm not saying it's not true...But I myself, couldn't repeat what you're saying without more proof. Or, any proof, for that matter.

I just assumed that process went as published in the CBA...And, our "safety is our highest priority" touting VP Flt Ops, said NO!!

By the way, I don't think I've ever been more proud of a group of FDX pilots...Than I was with the ANC guys on DP flying.
