I would think that is good news. Maybe some guys in the guard or reserves may think about going active duty for a few years, allowing others to keep their jobs.

Hey at least, Management is trying to Manage... What do they call that an Oximoron? But I do give them credit for doing everything they can to keep everybody on property... But then again, they need to, the publicity of a furlough would kill the stock!

Since I don't have the contract with me, does anyone know if we can keep any benefits on one of these personal leaves? Does it affect longevity? Thanks.

How many are going to jump on this offer? 3?

This whole thing is ridiculous!! FEDEX IS STILL MAKING MONEY!!! WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?! I'm tired of reading of BLGs reductions and furloughs.

A BLG reduction is BS!

A furlough is BS!

WE ARE STILL MAKING MONEY!!!

If we were in such dire straits, why pay hundreds of millions to rid the Kinkos name? How wise was THAT?

I got you answer, how about posting the 777 bid now?

How about quit f-ing around with this sh!tty LOA and give us PROPER incentive to move overseas to haul freight...a frigging E-1 makes more COLA than what was offered.

Agree with all except the 777 part, not until it is settled !

The Company is really not "offering" anything with PLOA, it has been in the CBA and anyone could have requested it already. Why would anyone say "Great, now I can take some time off without pay !" If people were in that situation I think they would already know they could request that and I can't see why the SCP would have denied ANY for the last 9 months..
