Default FDX- Leveling after m/u trip?

So, I get a 22 hour trip on reserve earlier in the month, then fly a 9 hour trip on general make-up. Should be leveled to 31 hours, right?

I don't think you will get leveled for any non carry over M/U trip except for CIA. Even then you normally have to call scheds after the CIA trip is flown to get your credit.

Why would you be leveled for a M/U trip? It was not a reserve assigned trip and you voluntarily flew the trip on your off days.

Well, I guess because I have been leveled in the same situation for a carry in conflict trip-that's why I was asking. I guess your answer is no?

No. You won't be leveled on a M/U trip. If it says that in the trip summary by your name; you won't be leveled. There are other codes that will level you--such as CIA; I don't know what they are, but a general makeup trip will not --- been there many times.

Thanks Bones and MalteseX.

Sorry, didn't intend to come across rude if I did.

Did your carry-in conflict touch some Reserve days or did you protect min days? If so then you should receive leveling. If your carry-in trip did not touch any R days and you did not protect min days then no leveling is applied. That is the way I understand it.

I can't remember on the CIC trip. This month, it was just some basic make up from a trip I dropped a couple of months ago. Thanks for the help, seems like I learn stuff every day still!

OK ... reviving this old Leveling thread for a related question.

I bid and was awarded a JUL m/u trip. Trip was revived and extended into my AUG R days. No leveling credit yet (trip hasn't ended yet). Interestingly, my web calendar and pay screen still show the original trip footprint (I've never seen when a trip revision wasn't immediately shown on the web calendar? When I click on it, it shows the revision but the "footprint" is clearly the original trip?).

Spoke with both the control center scheduler and the daily scheduler. Appears to be a "programming problem"?

Thoughts? Comments? Thanks

Mark

The footprint on your calendar is just a feel good graphic, and the times on the trip are what matters. Try to pick something up in the footprint. It probably won't let you because the times are what matters. If it does let you pick something up it's FREE money.
