Does this mean that these new hires on the DC-8 panel that were forced there while on probation last time can now bid over to ANC 744 and ANC MD FO slots? (I'm assuming those 2 FO lists are most junior in the company.)

And what about those FEs STILL on probation as of 30 Jun? Do they NOT get to bid out of FE due to that probationary status?
The July 2nd class and the ones after that do not get to bid off the FE seat. The 5 Fe's from the July 2nd class miss bidding out of the seat by 1 day.

We should save this post for the next time that a question about skipping a class date offer comes up

Default Hey Roberto!

Roberto,
Have you re-run the bids lately and if so who is going where?

Sorry, but no. It was relatively easy to do when I just had to go through the top couple hundred seniority numbers. I don't think the vacancy bid will count for much, however. There are only 13 non-probationary FE's, and when I looked a while back only 9 of them had ANC in their bids. Don't know if one or two lower-48 FO's want to go to ANC, as a couple did last bid. And I don't know if the FE's who can bid ANC will hold it after the displacement. The displacement is much too complicated to do manually.

With 57 of the classic guys bidding the front seat, I think that will ultimately bump the bottom 57 lower-48 FO's to ANC or FE. In a previous UPS System Bid 08-103 thread, I posted the location of the bottom 57 lower-48 FO's. Here they are again.

For planning purposes, by my count, the 57 most junior lower-48 FO's (based upon the System Bid 08-102 Reference Seniority List) are located as follows:

757 ONT - 23
757 SDFZ - 22
757 SDF - 5
757 MIA - 4

MD11 SDF - 2
A300 SDF - 1

After thinking about it for a minute, it won't be too hard to do a manual award for the 57 front-seat eligible PRIMARY displacees only. I'll do that tomorrow on a layover unless someone beats me to it.

I was looking at that; a few of the primary folks have yet to update their bid. Looks like a number of the CPTs will displace into SDF MD.
