That is because a few of the persons in that class got a 747-400 FO award and they need to keep the classes full...

Just a little info for the guys bidding the DC-8. Do yourself a favor and change that bid now. Almost all or our lines have a bid package violation and just straight up suck!!! They have tanked over the last few years and have gotten significantly worse in this POS contract we have now.

I here ONT is "the" place to be! I'm on the DC8 right now and I love it, love the schedules the city pairs/layovers, absolutely every thing about it but I've heard that ONT is awesome too and I'm thinking of bidding over. I here you have Starbucks and even flight attendants to serve you breakfast on the coast to coasters. You all are lucky!

Bid Update.
With one each Classic CPT and senior FO still to bid, this is what I got for the Classic bidders who are senior enough to hold CPT.
1 – 747-400
2 – MD11 ANC
13 – MD11 SDF
5 – DC8
2 – 757 SDF
2 – 757 SDFZ
2 – 757 ONT
1 – 757 MIA
1 – A300
29 – Total (one or two remaining to CPT)
I've taken a look at the secondary displacees from the Classic CPT bidders, and the bottom CPT's based in Louisville. I don't have the greatest confidence in these numbers, so use at your own risk, but this is what I got. (Put "about" prior to each number)
5 more (7 total) SDFZ CPT's displaced, to 757 SDF, ANC, ONT, or FO
15 total A300 CPT's, to either ANC, ONT, or FO
5 more (7 total) 757 SDF CPT's, to either ONT, MIA, or FO
5 total MIA CPT's, one to ONT, 4 to FO
12 total ONT CPT's, 5 to ANC, the rest to FO
5 total ANC 747 CPT's, 2 to ANC MD11, 3 to FO
12 total ANC MD11 CPT's displaced to FO
There are still some gaps to be filled, and like I said, I don't have the greatest confidence in the numbers, but I think the overall picture is informative.
If someone else has some numbers, let me know how they compare to these.
