Well that adds just a little complexity!?!

I was looking today, and taking into account the final award of 08-02, here is what I get...

-Training events created by this practice bid = 833

-People who were awarded something on 08-02, then awarded their previous seat on this practice bid = 53 (In effect, not going to training, but some will loose passover)

-People awarded something on 08-02 which were not awarded something else on this practice bid = 67

So, in effect, there are a net 847 total training events created by this excess process.
(833-53+67)

That's true ONLY IF the flex's and LCAs have already been awarded (...and can now keep) a higher seat position --- and are thus, getting passover pay.

Of course, this is true for most NB Flex's and LCA's, but those numbers will be decreasing.

The way to identify these guys is to look at the training letters for the other jets --- you will see them all sitting at the bottom together.
