Amen Brother,

Looks like those without foresight are getting a "redo" and those of us with it are getting "foreskin".

Kicked off the trainer jet just when they took the -100 stuff out finally....damn!

You are correct, it does.

But then you go to training, and if training conflicts with your scheduled vacation....you get your pick of any vacation slot someone junior to you holds in your new seat once you've finished IOE. Doesn't even have to be a vacation slot available,

I don't know for sure, but I assume time to train a Capt Back into an F/O seat is gonna be pretty quick. Even at 200% training it can't be more than a couple weeks.

But it could be years before a valid training letter shows up.

Very good point. It will be the biggest training letter in FDX history.

When I went from F/O to Capt in the MD they made me do the full course.
I think I will require the same to go back to the right. Especially since this time they will be buying me a hotel room, renting a car, paying Intl override and Intl per diem
And don't forget to save some sick time for IOE. Need to stretch out the Capts pay for as long as possible

I ain't a smart man but that one makes sense... And of course, I am sure it will take 200% to train in all phases... Or at least, that is my plan should I be booted to a narrowbody...

Do you know how difficult it is going to be for me to re-learn to fly the sim with my right hand? Geez, I can't do it all that well with my left hand---but it's gonna take AT LEAST forty-two sims worth to get me all the way through!
Also, after my shoulder surgery between my check ride and IOE, I'll probably have to have several warm ups before I go fly. Man, that is gonna suck having to burn all the way through all that sick time at CA pay.

I'm not sure, but I bet they'll open the ANC sim just for you.
