Default FDX - So will the NC be able to engage the company??

From DW's latest, about 15 mins ago...

The Negotiating Committee has prepared recommendations for the MEC that include elimination of carry-over, elimination of over-time flying, early retirement incentives and many other initiatives that could lessen the future impact of continued or long-term weakness in the economy. The MEC is committed to working with management, should the need arise, to deal with verifiable financial conditions that warrant responsible attention.

How receptive will management be?

As always....they will be receptive to anything that minimizes costs and maximizes profits --- it's quite simply their responsibility to company shareholders.

Unfortunately, I caught on after my first month here working alongside the dysfunctional majority. I wish I were still a sheep.

The Company will just tell the Union to "go pack sand; you wanted Age 65; now we are overmanned because of it; your problem not ours!"
