FDX - Just when you thought Reserve was safe...
#21
I'd rather have a normal line guy (reserve line holder) show up and help me out with a sim than a training guy any day. The guest help I've had in the past has just sat there and do only what they're told to do - much like a robot would. I can see why we have PEOPLE in the cockpit instead of only machines. You get much better help from someone who has a stake in the outcome.
On the other hand, of course I don't want to have to come in for a sim if I'm sitting reserve.

I've had MANY "flex" support guys in the sim over the years. I've had very good experiences with them and appreciated their really good support. They've seen the scenario before, they know what's coming next and they know the wrong answers and will try to persuade you into a better answer. I'll take a flex instructor anytime.
