If I were a poolie I'd make sure my FE written is less than two years old... Yes I know about the part 121 rule but in the past they didn't seem to like that exemption (even though many used it and it worked for them).

My point is be ready when the call comes because it might happen soon... (I really hope all the poolies will be wearing brown very soon). Then I hope we can hire as many yellow brothers and sisters as we can...

Smile UPS aircraft

Fact:

13 DC-8's coming out of the desert immediately.

Rumor:

It's only the beginning.

Speculation:

Plot application window opening real soon.

Yeah, someone mentioned that 10-13 number coming out of the GMM. Is that what the IPA thinks is gonna happen, or is that what the company's told the union is gonna happen? And doesn't the agreement have to actually get signed first before we do anything (can't be proactive around here)?

UPS likes to keep things secret until they know the deal is struck; no one anticipated the DHL deal, even some senior management folks were really surprised... I don't think they would have made the announcement unless they were very certain of the deal or the agreement had been signed...

Then again, tomorrow Fedex might announce they’re partnering with DHL after all...
