Well, if they need to hire for those positions I'm sure myself and the other poolies would be more than happy to take that offer.
Shenzhen base, I'll have to talk to the wife first :-)

ERJ - As a fellow poolie, since 6/07, I agree, we would be more than happy to take that offer.

Now to start working on the wife........

Not as far fetched as you may think. At the end of the contract talks the company was envisioning an ANC Z domicile for the 767. The trips would all being with a deadhead aboard one of our flights to get you into position, and then you would fly intra asia for your trip before returning home (ANC) on one of our planes again. Nothing to stop them from doing it and apparently they feel that there is a lot of gain there.

Just looking at the savings in deadhead duty days and/or commercial tickets, its not rocket surgery to figure out that an ANCZ domicile would be more economical than the present SDFZ situation ...

Its almost too logical ...

Oh good, then it won't happen. That was close.

Seriously though, I want UPS to do that which makes money. If it's a ANCZ base, so be it. The passenger carriers obviously can't seam to figure that out.

I'm just glad that ANC move LOA included all future aircraft so that it wouldn't have to be re-negotiated every time.
