FDX Wireless Question
I blew out a hard drive on my laptop and am setting it back up to the wireless network in Mem. If I try to install Avalanche it now says I need to download the Enterprise Desktop and Server Management software. I don't remember having to do this before...anyone know if this is required for personal computers?
Thx.

Computer woes
Yes, you need to get all of the software added onto your computer if you want to get on the company wireless (at least I had to). Follow the instructions on pilot.fedex.com. If you are at the AOC, you can plug right into one of the stations to download the software. It will take a very long time so make sure you start the process when you have a couple of hours to devote to the process.

lol.... ya gotta wonder how many variables they had to program into this particular solve... all we gotta do is fly in typhoon's into Subic... probably be easier than trying to figure out all this excess/vacancy/ secondary(none)/passover/new domicile/ND stuff that they are adding into this practice bid....

In as much as Safari has total Internet access, I would guess that the proxy server settings are correct? Any smart Mac guys out there with a good guess as to the problem? Thanks

Do you have to download avalanche at the AOC? And if so, do you plug directly into a high speed port?
When I try to download it from the Technology/Wireless Access information page on the Flight Ops website it is a dead link.
