I noticed that our favorite airbus hero has cleaned up his site a little more this week.

The point is that with both pilots spending more time as monitors, the chances of something being done wrong by the crew is less likely. But feel free to continue to hand fly as much as you like. With the Captains permission, of course.
You missed the point. It's not about choosing to exercise their certificate for less money than others. It was a route to get where others are, like YOU.

There was a time in YOUR career where you had to hand fly, right? I mean, I hear old geezers rant all the time about "you nintendo pilot kids today have no pilot skills, what are you going to do when all the stuff breaks? Back in my day blah blah blah....."

Password protected his ho conquest page last week and now has taken away his "I Love Me" references. Smartest thing he did though was blur his Vegas Love Shack MLS listing page that had his address listed! The local burglars still can know when he's out of the country, they just don't know which house is his now!

If that was your point, then pipe down. Everyone pays dues in getting through life. Everyone. Yeah, I used to hand fly all the time, but that was because the planes I flew didn't have any autopilot. Hell, I was lucky they had an M-8. We could have used a cat and a duck for foul weather flying. But, now that the jets are all glass and have modern appliances, why would someone want to disregard that technology for the "experience" of hand flying? And hand flying every leg for that matter. Nuts.

Hey Boy,
I'm one of those FOs who hand flew the departure out of EWR with you. You are right. It was a mistake. Your whining was shameless. I did not need to hand fly to impress you. After a month of flying with you, you were sufficiently embarrassed after all of my landings were consistently much better than yours. Thanks for buying dinner. It was a fun month.
