FDX - Question about P.M.A Jr
I don't want to start a dog pile on her, but I do have some legit questions regarding her departure and then subsequent return to FDX. Can anybody tell me if she was indeed previously fired and then rehired with the help of the union, or only on an extended Leave of Absence? Just curious how she maintained her seniority if her employment was indeed terminated? What were the exact conditions cited for her termination? Did the union play any part in her getting her job back? Thanks.

As far as I know...She was never fired. I think she was out on a medical of some sort.

Those are two different people. Sock Puppet is a Bus Captain in MEM. Seniority in the 1400's.

Grievances, hiring,rehring, etc helped by your union are all confidential for obvious reasons. If you want an overview of what is going in in that department, contact CB, an Airbus F/O, who runs that for the union.
We have discussed putting out a more "sanitized" version of some of those cases just so folks know some of what it going on behind the scenes, but I think the level of detail you just requested would remain private.
If you want to know if someone is a paid member, Wes Reed will have the answers. I beleive the person in question rejoined and paid back dues and is now in good standing. However, not 100% sure.

I know the person in LAX and it's not her. Please don't bring "Pat" up on here anymore unless things change in the future. I think she should get her chance to "shine" again now that she's back.
