As a mid range wide fo, I am expecting a serious drop in QOL and seat seniority. This is gonna hurt.

Any DC 10 FO's want to speculate where most of the senior of you will be heading. --- 11fo or cap??

Trying not to be downbeat as a lot of the problem here is because we "did the right thing."

By my count there are 322 pilots getting excessed. That is not counting the 55 -10 SO's.

RSV in ANC this summer will be nice! Too bad I won't hold it!

I doubt seriously if any of the new captain awards (757) will be under age 60.

BoyCaptain,

If they fill the HKG F/O spots, will they cancel all of the other awards/excesses?

Looks like there will be 500 people in the back of the Boeing? Or am I reading that wrong?

I don't think so. I think they are trying to spread the overmanning across the fleet. Otherwise why excess the 50 727 S/O.

If I am wrong; R-24 for all my friends.

Default 727 relief excess senior to dc-10 excess

It is my understanding that all DC-10 crews are being excessed and the 727 crews who choose to relieve excess, will have priority over all the DC-10 crews per the contract. Is this correct, anyone??

Why the heck are we the only ones not allowed to know how many over 60s are in each of the 72 and the -10???

Boycapt, try turning off the phone. works wonders for avoiding phonecalls

And on the excess,
no priority other than seniority as far as I can determine. Should be interesting to see if everyone bids off the 10, or if there are a few last holdouts thinking the trip to the boneyard will slide right.
