Default UPS Jumpseat Issue Finally Resolved

UPS System Chief Pilot J. Barnes has just issued a Must Read Bulletin which "put to bed" the bumping of Priority 3 Jumpseaters. If a Captain bumps a Priority 3 Jumpseater, he must explain his action and if he has no compelling safety reason to do so, he is in trouble. You better behave!!

Default I warned you

If you are who the purdue boys say you are, you just lost your pilot training slot.

I thought those purdue "wonder pilots" were allowed to skip UPT, and start F-22 training ASAP!

I am a recent former UPS co-op who also recently graduated from Purdue. I am also eagerly awaiting a UPT date in the ANG. It has been a long while since I've visited this particular site, but I dropped by this afternoon looking for jumpseat info and found these threads. Since I am the only FTC co-op from Purdue who has gotten a UPT slot in at least the last 4 years (and there are no current FTC co-ops from Purdue), the content of the posts below and their associated threats have alarmed me. Some of you have seen my posts on Flightinfo, but I would DEFINATELY not post any internal UPS company info like what has spawned some of these awful replies. I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time flaming people I respect and aspire to be while trying to learn a new airplane at my new job. If you don't believe that, go ask Bruce and Casey.

I would have sent this in a PM to Trash Hauler 1, but I evidently don't have access to PMs.

I don't want some ******* having fun at the expense of my reputation.

Regards,

Boiler,

If you notice it's always the same ones making these comments. I guess they are the self imposed spokespeople of the 2500 + IPA pilots. They are just stirring up more trouble don't let it bother you.
