Default FDX 1 in 7 question.

If they take a reserve day due to one in seven, does that time go in your makeup or are you already paid for that in your guarantee?

You should be paid for that R day just as if you stood it.

You don't get "hit" for the pay. It was their plan to give you 10, 15, whatever R-days in a row. So, your RLG is not reduced.

I frequently try to arrange my R days in 7 day blocks so that I can take the last day "off." Sometimes VIPS is smart enough to prevent me from doing so but ... if you end up with 24+ hrs. off on a layover then my whole plan gets revised in the company's favor. Of well, I am getting paid for the day

It's rough getting a company sponsored day off in the middle of your block of 14 days isn't it.

Bad thing is they used to give you a day off, so you might be able to run home or do something. Now it seems they give you 25.5 hours and that's it. Last time they gave me a day on B-res they called at 12:30 and gave me that day off and back on the next day. So, I really didn't have a day off just the hours. Bummer

Before the feds told them to cease and desist, if you didn't get used for 25+30, they told you that you just had your 1 in 7. Of course you had just be on reserve for 24 hours a day for 7 days.

No even after we went to the 12 hour shifts they'd still give you a calendar day off. Not now.
