I hope you are right. I just filled my first one out about the catering out of VCP. I was sick for 10 hours when I got home and then slept 20 hours. Only up side was that I lost 7 pounds. It was ugly coming out but it's gone now. I wonder what the company will do or say if anything?

It took almost 2 days of bugging my Capt (a DO at the time) to get our pairing changed to reflect the early alert (alert was as originally scheduled, but the inbound from EWR was 4 hrs late and MXP did not get the word though CRS had revised the pairing to show the later departure) - 18+32 duty day to 22+32. Eventually we got it done, but as you can imagine it made a big difference in pay and legal rest.

I've started calling CRS to have them revise my pairings enroute. If the trip to the hotel in Paris takes 3 hours then that needs to be reflected because it cuts down the length of the turn. If we sit for three hours waiting for EWR to let us depart I make sure it is in the computer. It might make the difference between a non-adjusted or adjusted crew rest on the Grid Penalty. All it takes it a couple cards falling the wrong way and you are not legal for the pairing down range.
Yep, I do this as well. When I was an FO, I used to pimp my Capts to do the same!
