Arctic Transportation Services
Anyone fly for Arctic Transportation Services in Alaska or know anything about them. Looking for info on hiring, minimums, hours per month, and anything else you can share. Thanks

I used to fly for these guys when they hauled pax. They were called Ryan Air then. There owner Boyuk Ryan and D.O. Mike Brown are pretty stand-up guys. I don't know many answers to your questions other than you'll be flying a lot and probaly based in the bush!
They had to quit hauling pax because of too many fatal accidents.
You might want to check out these guys if you're interested in flying in AK: http://www.beringair.com/ I also flew for them.

As I recall they had Caravans out of UNK with no windows, after the aforementioned fatals. Caravans are warm in the winter and what else matters?
They weren't considered fly by night when I was there. There's also Grant Aviation, ACE and NAC which might land you in town one day.
