Unhappy Mac & Fedex LMS Training

Any of you Mac users been able to get into the LMS course work? I know it says up front that Apple and Linux are not supported but that doesn't mean it can't be done. I've tried a variety of different browsers, still no luck.

There really isn't a good fix if you have a good 'ole PowerPC processer; however if you have a new intel mac you have some solutions....

1. Download ies4osx. http://www.kronenberg.org/ies4osx/

You will have to download Darwine and ies4osx, both available from the link above. This will run Internet Explorer in X11 (Think windows for UNIX.) From this "true" Internet Explorer, I have been able to run LMS natively and without problems. (Well, only 1; when viewing LMS presentations, switching windows [checking mail, doing something else] sometimes causes the LMS to reload.)

or, 2. I hate to endorse it, but switch to a Windoz environment. (BootCamp, Parallels, VMWare.)

Good luck!

Yeah, I just open VMware Fusion and run Internet explorer there. Works fine. It is one of the few things that I have to open fusion for. Don't know why we are still using those archaic LMS lessons anyway...They are a true test of patience.

Well I finally got a course to load, I wasn't giving it enough time apparently. Unfortunately after I completed a course I backed out to see if I got the credit for it and did not. CBT is fine, no problems, just this darn LMS system.
Looks like I'm headed for the AOC.

Before you give up; try re-loading the LMS main page. I've had it a few times where I've completed a course, but it didn't show up right away. But once I reloaded the main page, there was the credit.
