Not quite. Yes, we got a nickel. However, we used to get paid for the entire hour once you were operating :01 minute or more past the hour.

Now, per diem is terminated immediately as soon as you shut the engines down.

That's not a gain. It's a loss, folks...

Nice rates there... indexing is needed with today's wildly fluctuating (downwards) Dollar. I'm assuming that's how your all's formula works.

What's sad is how low the dollar has gone, or what little you can buy with a dollar these days.
Nice to see that per diem is readdressed every year instead of some arbitrary (one nickel) increase set years ahead of time.

At least FDX pays 9 an hour for Intl. override vs. the 6.50 an hour for UPS.

Ah yes, $8 for a coke and the President of the United States is the cause. A lot of dots gotta be connected in this one. It's like playing the Kevin Bacon game, n'est pas?

Thumbs down Thought police

Tried to reference the message you quoted. Looks like the moderators considered it too controversial.

Question

Priority 3 - I know our per diem is tied to the government's per diem rates somehow (at least that's what I believe?) but how are those rates adjusted? Is it simply about the value of the dollar in those countries? Thanks...
