Never said you blamed anybody. PPP did blame the guys who decide to take the opportunity to work past 60. Personally, I find it hard to blame those guys for using the opportunity the change provides. Just MHO, but I think you can count on your fingers the number of pilots here who actually had some part in changing the law (and DW is one of them.) Likewise, the number of near or over 60 guys who are being real "richards" about the fact that they're staying around.
Just that the presence, both ahead and behind me, of so many older guys, who in the past would never have been hired at a major, slows down progression for those who followed either a civilian only or the classic "leave the military early" career path. Whining about it makes no more sense than whining about the FAR change.
PS - haven't been sitting around with my head anywhere. This is my 3rd airline in those 19 years.
