Fredex can't sue me.....would have come back if I hadn't slipped and fell in the break room and had to seek medical attention.

So, are my odds of winning the lottery better or worse than that of being struck by lightning twice?

I forget the exact name of the theory...but math tells us that your odds of getting struck by lightening a second time are exactly the same as they were prior to being struck the first time.

What did this guy do? Sounds like LOTS of venom on the board for this - was he a scab in a previous life?

Odds are different than probability

Probability is constant. Best example is the Odds might randomly choose Sunday as the day to go out to dinner are 1/6 but the Probablility of Sunday being chosen is 1/7.

FWIW--the odds of being stuck by lightning are 1 in 5000

Powerball lottery odds are 1 in 146,107,962

EXCEPTIONAL POST - thank you.

Now, what did this guy do to make everyone so bitter and wish for his demise?

Personally, at this point, I would rather see a nonmember retire, than a member stay past 60.

My opinion on non-members depends on the type of non-member. There are non members who pay dues and in fact are 100% current in their dues and have heartburn with this ALPA unit but won't be free loaders. Then there's all the other non-members. Good riddance to them.

Personally I have a singular opinion regarding everyone who wants to fly in the front seat past age 60. All of them; members or not.

Depends,

what are your odds of finishing a bottle of whiskey before hopping on the horse.

But, I'd bet the probability is 100% of at least one fall. Unless the horse your'e riding is your high horse
