Question FDX - A day away from Practice Bid #1 and no predictions?

OK guys --- I believe we are one day away from Practice Bid #1 closing out.

Where are all the predictions?

How many additional FDA FO slots will be filled total?

...by "Very Junior" Second Officers?

...by Over 60 Second Officers?

How many of the domestic 757 seats (Capt and FOs) will be filled by Over 60 Second Officers?

Will any of the previously identified/trained 757 LCAs bid the 757?

How many of the domestic widebody slots will be filled by Over 60 Second Officers?

How much of a reduction will there be in secondary vacancies in the domestic FO slots?

Come on gentleman, make your predictions and place your wagers!

But in all seriousness.... I bet fewer of the Geritol gang bid out than you'd think. There are some that won't be able to hold it this time around and are waiting for the DC10 Excess bid to reclaim their lost seats.

The pilots formerly known as the 757 Cadre won't bid it unless there was some super secret side-letter releasing them from their POP mess... This is highly unlikely.

And I bet that we get 3 more nibbles on CDG and 1 for HKG.

Wow... three proper uses of there/their in one post. An APC record!!

Default Lovely grammar...

Proud of your grasp of grammar Twice.

Don't know what will happen, but won't be surprised if a few others take the income reduction plan at HKG/CDG.

My guess is backseaters who've been in back over 1 year will, in general, realize they don't want to go through training again (maybe even during training).

All I really know is it will be interesting and won't settle down for probably a year.

Practice bids don't mean a thing.

Prediction for the final bid, not necessarily the practice bid...

All LAX and MEM wide CA slots go to over 60 types. Possibly same for ANC.

A few secondary wide FO slots in these same domiciles will also go to over 60 727 SO's. Especially when they see they can't all hold CA in this practice bid.

I fully expect gamemanship on the part of 727 over 60 SO's. Perhaps none of them will bid wide FO until the last week before the final bid.

I don't expect any over 60 SOs to go to HKG. Maybe CDG. CDG CA that is.

I think all of the domestic CA slots will go old and or senior. Too many 60-63 year olds foaming at the mouth to get back into the left seat......
