No sleep rooms for you!!

If the company really gave a rip about fatigue, they wouldn't have the sodomizer cranked up. Sleep rooms are NOT the issue. Sleep rooms are a bandaid and a distraction to the real (scheduling) issue.

The difference between commuting in and working a trip in, is that you actually have to be awake for the flight when you are working. I know a lot of legs are short, so getting in a real nap for a commuter is tough, but it is more than the guys up front will get.
Hopefully, they will orer a bunch of Chair B's, as voted on in the AOC, and not just a handful. They go almost totally flat. And fill up the cubicles in the locker room, too.

The problem is, irregardless of whether your a commuter or live in domicile, the first duty after days off is always a fatiguing experience. Neither the FAR's or our contract addresses this fact. Monday nights everyone is tired on a hub turn, sleep room or not, lounge chair or not.

I can not believe I just read this entire thread. Get some rest, bid a different domicile, or get a different job.
Better yet, volunteer for a SIG/PSIT type position and try to make a change to the ever-worsening schedules.
In the mean time, get some sleep.

These are almost the EXACT words that the lady issuing rooms said to me on New Year's Eve! She said that she was the only one working that evening and didn't want to have to clean any more rooms than she had too... Probably the ONLY night during the year when you truly wouldn't have been competing for a sleep room, but they were only issued 12 Hub Turn rooms. The lady in the back said that somebody from FLight Coordination came by and gave her the info as to how many turns there were going to be that evening.
