Actually it was my second post not my first.
Funny thing, if you actually go and read what my first post was about.
I am pretty busy with National issues.
I do not care about your support or lack there of.
I will not have fun in Paris because I will get rid of the trip.
I said I screwed up, what more would you have me do?

I am speechless. With "leadership" like this, it is no wonder we have such unity.

We do the best we can, and we're all human. Hopefully this slip of GoGo's might help as impetus for displaying all DP's in vips with a different colored font. It would have helped GoGo on this one, and it would help the rest of us who still pay attention to the process. BTW, I also think GoGo is one of the rest of us.

Gogojoe, "I am no longer on a disputed pairing and I will be more careful next time!
I beg the indulgence of all those I riled-up with a boneheaded mistake.
I got a call late last night that I had done this from a friend and felt like a "chooch" (Italian for dope).
In actuality, I carefully entered all the DPs in the program BidX so they show up in red. Then I traded on the company web site without looking.

Joe, it's not the fact that you accidentally picked up a disputed pairing that so many of your constituents on this board find disturbing, it's these two statements:
"I am pretty busy with National issues.
I do not care about your support or lack there of."
Those two statements come across as arrogant and out of touch with us. Considering the recent problems with the Age 65 legislation and the LOA fiasco, I would hope that someone in your position would not be making those kind of remarks.
I appreciate all of the hard work you have done on our behalf at the national level, but perhaps a little more attention to what's going on at Fedex is in order.

Specifically:
All are continuing disputes from November and December. These pairings all contain flight 0005 that operates CDG-STN-MEM. The PSIT believes that the use of a RFO on a 2-leg sequence in which one of the legs would normally require an augmented crew should not have an additional flight leg. Flights from STN-MEM are 9:29 of block time alone. Additionally, the total duty in this 2-leg duty period is 13:14, only 16 minutes from CBA limits.

It's paritially due to the whole open time process. People feel like if they don't hurry up and mash the enter key they will miss out. Then they can later check legality and such. That's why these disputed pairings should be identified...I keep them on a sticky note, right on my laptop, but they should be identified by the company in open time by being a different color hyperlink, or by a comment--just like the column that shows RFO.

If he traded off it, does that mean someone else picked it up? Can the union now slam that dude for saving the face of one of their officers? How'd it go? "I'm JF, FDXALPA Exec VP and I'd like you to fly my DP that I picked up." Weird. Shouldn't he have just flat out dropped it instead of baiting someone else with it?
