Why is it again that they can split and pay the per diem by the 15th, but not the intl overrides?

Huh? I didn't know they paid per diem tht way. In all my years here they always paid the per diem as an overage the next month.

Sorry Boss, perhaps an example will make my queston more clear.
Trip C2ZZ was an intl carryover trip scheduled to pay 47:11CH with 166:18 TAFB. Actual TAFB was 165:27 and the per diem was split between bid months as 119:18 and 46:09.
As you can see below, I was paid per diem including override thru the last day of the bid month (Month1) and paid the rest (carryover) in Month2. But, I was only paid Intl override for the one trip that I had completed in Month1 and the override for the whole carryover trip was paid in Month 2. The pay screen clearly shows that the CH for the trip is split into 35:25 of pay for Month1 and 11:46 for Month2.
The math is already done. Again, why don't we get paid the intl override in the month it's earned like we do the per diem ??
