Those two were indeed jerks. It's one thing to discuss the issue. As well, in private, it's perfectly ok to celebrate your good fortune. However, it's entirely different to be rubbing someone's nose in it. Guys like that do no good for either side, and should be told so. I've always found it's better to resolve these issues, either then and there, or at least before you, as a crew, part ways. It enlightens one side and makes the other side feel a little better. Whether it actually will change the other guys technique or not, is another story. I would have spoken up, to both of them, right then and there.

Does anyone remember the Pan Am days or Eastern?? I was always told it took up to 18 years for a F/O to move over to the left seat. So what is the different between now and then?? Sure it sucks. But what the hell am I going to do about?? I will deal with it and move on with life.

If that is the way you really feel, then man-up and take it off property instead of creeping around like a little *****.
I can't really understand the venom here-we all lived under 60 and we are all going to live under 65. We have all had setbacks and blaming it on somebody who is most likely entirely innocent isn't going to fix it.
This will evolve over the coming months and it is just a little early to accurately predict the fallout.
Happy Holidays.
