I've always found it's better to resolve these issues, either then and there, or at least before you, as a crew, part ways. It enlightens one side and makes the other side feel a little better. Whether it actually will change the other guys technique or not, is another story. I would have spoken up, to both of them, right then and there.
This is one of the reasons why I was saying on the other thread that people will still be holding onto what happened here several years from now. A few years back, I flew with a guy who was crying poor about Age 65, but still had time to show me a few of his toys(cars, condo and boat in FL) and whine about what to do with some property bequeathed to him that he estimated was worth about 1.5mil that he didn't want. This is a Capt. airline in more ways than one and some guys just don't know when it's more appropriate to just ****. In the past, I've generally just looked out the window while replying 'uh-huh' to the glass with such types, I'm betting I'll find it harder to do so on this one.

Does anyone remember the Pan Am days or Eastern?? I was always told it took up to 18 years for a F/O to move over to the left seat. So what is the different between now and then?? Sure it sucks. But what the hell am I going to do about?? I will deal with it and move on with life.

and this "Any captain who comes up with this excuse to me will have a very interesting crew meal served to him...."

If that is the way you really feel, then man-up and take it off property instead of creeping around like a little *****.

I can't really understand the venom here-we all lived under 60 and we are all going to live under 65. We have all had setbacks and blaming it on somebody who is most likely entirely innocent isn't going to fix it.
This will evolve over the coming months and it is just a little early to accurately predict the fallout.
Happy Holidays.

Don't you wish sweetheart!

What we like or don't like can't change what has happened.
