FDX F/O Jan Bid

Over 90 minutes late and counting! How is this OK? And yet it happens repeatedly. I'm sure CRS gets irregularity reports when this happens like we would if we were to show up or push hours late consistently. YGBSM!! Oh and can our multi-billion dollar company purchase a server or two that can handle a fairly finite demand. Jeeze.

Later and later.....

The comparator program (sodo...optimizer program phase II) has to be run to make sure there are no international flights with both pilots over age 60. If there is the FO automatically gets their last choice or a custom line with ALL disputed pairings.

Now wasn't that an easy explaination???

I am hoping it is like college where you can leave after 10 minutes if the professor is a no show--we will still get paid although we won't have to work next month. Didn't you guys read about all of this in the new contract?

I think we also get time and a half for January simply due to the stress of looking at the 'VIPS server too busy' message.

Jan vacations

There is also a problem with January vacations. Mine tells me I have a negative balance and can't have my week #. ALPA contract admin says the company has been working on it since 3pm yesterday. Don't know if this is slowing down the release of skeds today.
