FDX - CDG gym

Can't picture it in my mind but I do remember the gym was lame. Much better if you can stay at the Concorde and use the Club Med gym. How does that effect your packing out of curiosity? That can't be your only layover.

I don't want to answer for him, but if I know the gym is going to be lame on one of my layovers, I pack my own set of plates and a bench. It takes a team of Sherpas to carry my gear, but as long as I'm happy, I'm happy. I just have to remember to ask the captain to add a few thousand pounds of fuel on each leg.

Believe me when I say it was an investment I didn't want to make and fought vigorously for several years, however, I would be lying if I didn't also say I am very happy with the results. I didn't need that stupid old 401k money anyway.

Apples and oranges...
CDG has the Concorde La Fayette for long layovers and - no - the Club Med gym is not lame, but rather upscale in its fitness choices. Ask for a 1-day pass at the front desk (the gym entrance is outside, to your right slightly then down some stairs).
