Only the current regime
From Sep 02 thru May 05 there were, to my knowledge, 7 ACP's hired in Central Region. Of the 7, 4 came straight from the line, JS, JP, SM and RT. 3 came from training, DM, CS and SB. I think you can say the same thing about them as I do about civilian/military pilots. Some are the best I've ever met and some are the worst. I'll let you decipher who is who......

An ACP is paid 95 hours a month at the highest seat he can hold domestically, plus a 2-4% override based on his level. In other words, all the ACP's we currently have are paid at Wide Body Captain rate. They also get MBO's paid at a level based on a percentage of their salary comparable to the rest of the Company management. It equates to about $300K+ a year. So we now have a "Special Projects" guy who makes a huge chunk of change in a job that didn't exist until very recently..... glad I'm where I am.

Amazingly they don't get a whole lot of applicants usually. Should be here long enough to have some idea as to what is going on, but then again, that doesn't seem to be a prereq.

Most junior I know of is a 429XXX employee number... Regional something or another.. This whole new "Chain of Command" thing has me confused.. But hey this one is not a calendar blocker... So far!

No apologies needed, but I still say you're wrong. I was in that office for almost 5 years and never, repeat never, had anyone tell me what discipline would or should not be metered out. It was left up to me. That was the first thing you got asked in the arbitration, "who decided this punishment?"

Can you give us any more details on the MBO points and stuff like that fec?
I've heard that the ACPs get some enhancement to their retirement as well. Any truth to that?
Thanks for giving us the straight scoop.

Don't think that the SCP, RCP and ACPs don't pay attention to this forum. After being chastised for blocking their calendars, looks like most of them have "un-blocked" them recently. Now you are free to validate their claims of flying the DPs. Interesting reading..............unfortunately the new special projects pilot has ZERO DPs to his credit. "O" and SJ flew one......together.
