According to ALPA Contract Enforcement, the payraises will be effective the 1st day of the Nov Bid Month, each year. And according to them, we will make out better.
How?
I'm assuming they are saying that we would make out better than if they used the "effective date" of Oct 30. As, next year's(2008) Nov. bid month begins on Oct 27. I'm assuming that Nov 2009 must also begin before Oct 30.
