Went through this a few months ago. I learned the hard way. I think it is best to decline the sub window and elect otp. You are pay protected for 3 months and get to do priority makeup at 125%. If you elect sub and later turn down a trip (decline sub after showtime for original trip) then the rest of your hours go into your makeup bank. NO OTP and NO Pay protection. Even worse is that if the mid month pay is not yet calculated then your blg will drop. Mine went from 90 to 35. OUCH! Hope this helps.
