Why do we take turns tipping the bus driver at layovers? At other airlines, it's every man/flight attendent for themselves. I've noticed when it's the other guys turn to tip, I get the stink eye from the driver. Do crews with RFOs do the alternating thing, or is that just domestically? Just curious.

i always offer to pay, or reach for my wallet. if the captain is going to pay, they will say they got it out loud for the driver. don't sweat it, unless you see the captain only pay a buck for the both of you!
