I just looked at a "Conversion/Production Master Schedule" dated 8/24/07. It shows 12 more A300 conversions coming with the last scheduled to arrive in 05/09. It also shows 18 of the 19 flying DC10s converted to MD10s by 08/10. Last one is being returned to the Lessor.
As mentioned above, the first 757 will be in service next January, with about 1 per month starting in 04/08. Unfortunately, it also shows only a total of 34 jets with the last delivery in 06/10. Obviously, Fred has not closed the deal on all 87 they said they were getting.
It shows the 77 on schedule with the 1st jet in 07/09 and a total of 15 by 03/11. Given this info is a week old, it may change in the future. I know this document gets frequent revisions.
Say what you will about Fred, but he knows how to buy airplanes. I don't doubt the aquisition department knows where every A300/310, MD11, DC10, and now B757 in the world is, and has an acceptable price tag on it.

Daniel -
I can see how sending some MD-10s overseas could reduce their availability for CONUS flying, however, that flying still must be accomplished...it can't all go to the trucks. I wouldn't be surprised to see FDX make an announcement for A330F's or maybe even 767-300F's (aren't AMJ's an issue with these?) to pick up the slack on the domestic side. Pure speculation, mind you...
