Yea, supposedly Bristol offered giant guarantees. My understanding is that UT wouldn't give up one of their home games and is afraid to come to B'burg!

I say we play 2 times at Bristol and leave a year in between to recover from the greatest college football game/atmosphere/crowd in history.....agree??
Good article on stadiums too......LSU is just plain nasty on a Saturday night and Gainesville is right there with them.

I've just gotten touchy about the hypocracy of running down a nice guy who stood up for what he thought was right while defending a group of guys that are only out for themselves. I thought you were more senior than you are and I'm sick of the FedEX captains not leading by example. I'm sick of people defending DP flyers, 200%ers,parking lot deals, draft during negotiations, selling back vacations etc....Don't fly DP's and NO freaking landings for the F/Os who do. They got enough landings on the DP's. RANT OVER because everyone here has heard it before.

Your source is Hokie biased. VT doesnt want to do it unless there is a return game in Blacksburg. Neutral/Home game series .......sounds fair to me

We'll take a home and home, in fact, we 'll be in Death Valley on 9/8 (and if I can released off of reserve, I may scoot down to BR and scrounge a ticket! ) and we'll be in Lincoln, NE 9/20/08.As far as Bristol, I think most of it has been Urban Legend and hype by the owner of the Speedway! Seats would horrible, though the party would be great! I had a great time in JAX 12-13 yrs ago with the UT fans at the Gator Bowl (played in the Swamp that year). Can't stand that Rocky Top song though!
