Default FDX Tuition Reimbursement

Can someone send me a PM regarding the FDX tuition reimbursement? Interested in taking a class or two in the future.

Thanks

Send a note to your ACP. They're the ones that can approve tuition reimbursement and should be able to answer your questions.

You can also start by going to the Forms section on the Pilot.FDX homepage. Last item there is the tuition reimbursement form. The rules are apparently in the Your Employee Benefits book which I don't think line guys get, either that or its stashed somewhere I can't find.

BTW I got about $1800 for a Berlitz course in the past.

Lindy,

Look in the Pilot Benefit Book, in Section O, under Tuition Assistance Program. This should give you an idea of what it is you're looking for. I was going to PM you this information, then thought that maybe others might also be interested. However, I don't think the company will pay for your belly dancing classes.

Lindy,

When you are at the Hub you can access the FedEx intranet. In the keyword box on the top right of the home page type in "tuition reimbursement". The information comes up in the human resourses online section of the site.

Here you will find a very detailed Q & A section about tuition reimbursement.

I have been taking the full $3000 payout for the last three years working towards an MBA.

Once you are approved by ACP the process is pretty straightforward. You enroll in a class and pay for it yourself. Once you finish that particular class you then submit it for payment(To you FOA). It then takes one or two pay cycles to get paid. What a deal!

Hope that helps

But it works. Fred paid for my last class to finish my masters that I didn't get to complete before leaving the Air Force.
