Default Hot and bothered

"It's hot....AFRICA hot." A quote from playwright Neil Simon. In MEM and elsewhere over 105F. Once again the pilot group gets the job done. It doesn't matter if is extreme cold either. In the past ice storms the fly boys have always carried the operation. Hurricane season is approaching well "get er done", again.

I don't think I ask for much:

A manager (just one) who isn't the shoe shine police chasing expense reports and poorly parked cars.Any show of support. Better schedules,
meals, computers, buses, recliners, bunks, clean crew facilities in the field, etc. Maybe see one in uniform flying in the bad weather. And No they have not flown in so much in the past. No out and backs dayVFR don't count. They move from one office to another. Not as much as a thank you.

A union that informs me. A union that represents the majority (60). Some one to raise the BS flag when an operational emergency is declared for one thunder cell in MEM. Raise the BS flag when we need food or rest or relief from extreme weather. No more bending over to the optimizer ( sig earn your pay). No more junkets to Las Vegas to celebrate. No more more trips to Asia to figure $2700 to live , no school.

Neither seems to have any vision or plan for the future. They just react.
