Heard that if you are expecting this bid to be another MOAB you are going to be disappointed. Heard it is more akin to the Mother of ALL INSIGNIFICANT bids!

actually heard the opposite.
(take it as a rumor) but heard the company wants a 2-3 year bid to include HKG, CDG, 757, etc., but no 777's. the time frame was to minimize training and to hedge the possible change of age 60 and not having a vacancy bid--keeping the backseaters in the back.
by the way, isn't that age 60 stuff supposed to have been a "done deal" by now? good thing DW went against the majority.

Fred told Congress to put it on the back burner until he got the LOA sorted out, then the MOAB awarded. Everything in it's own season. Look for it sometime in ... oh, say mid-Nov, or whenever FH completes SO training, whichever comes last.
