Are the LOA and Age 60 related?
I just finished reading the block 8 letter. I think it is the 3rd or 4th time I've heard one of our leaders, or management types, refer to the connection of the age 60 issue and voting no, on the LOA.
I, myself, have not talked to one person that is voting against the LOA because he's angry about FDX ALPA's handling of AGE 60. Not one! And, I've talked to perhaps 100 crewmembers. Just a guess, maybe more.
I have talked to crewmembers that are now skeptical of our leadership, due to their handling of the age 60 issue. And because of that, are actually reading and asking questions about the LOA. I think that's a good thing. We shouldn't be a bunch of lemmings. That's why we get to vote.
Are any of you voting against this LOA because you are angry about your leadership's handling of the age 60 issue? Do you know of anyone that is?
Once again, I think our leaders and management are out of touch with the membership. In this case, I hope I'm right.

"The LOA really wasn't that bad --- they were just mad about Age 60"
