Yes but if you have unlimited minutes then why bother Skyping?
You wouldn't, but with the Airport Express creating your own WiFi network in your hotel room (assuming only wired internet and not WiFi is offered at the hotel), all the "connected" iPhone features such as web browsing, web gallery, and email would be greatly accelerated.

Web browsing and sending/receiving email attachments on a 2.5G network can be excruciating sometimes.

Thanks JB, sounds like there is hope for those of us who want to escape the Treo curse...

I'm eagerly awaiting the new iPhone and hope Skype will work trough WiFi (when overseas = out of coverage) - if so I'm buying the phone even if it'll be much more expensive than the current iPhone...
