Uniforms can be wonky & uncomfortable, but on a pax carrier having a crew in uniform is good thing during a evacuation marshaling.

Oh Please..... you don't need to dress like a professional to be paid like one. And I guess a fligth suit is a sign of a professioanl??? As I remember it was a way for someone waking up late or just lazy to be able to get dress real quick.

So is a sniper wearing a ghillie suit a sign of a professional??

To answer that, YES!!!

It is part of his identification(or more correctly conceilment(sp)) with in his profession. Would you trust a sniper professionalism in the field if he was wearing a pink T shirt and leather hot pants???

I can remember in parts of the world, do to sercurity reasons, we would not wear our uniforms between the airplane and the hotels. On the way to airport again, we would not wear our uniforms until we got the the crew room to pick up our papers. In some instances we had to change into our uniforms onboard the aircraft. Ahhh the good old days.

I know what you mean about the cover and concealment. I am using that as the example that a guy or girl in a white shirt and tie does not constitute a professional. You can be sitting in the left seat with shorts and the wife beater t-shirt and still be a professional as well as the best damn pilot out there. And as for getting paid, the sniper gets paid a ¼ of what most pilots do, and his A$$ is really on the line.

Oh what a true statement that is! I guess when put in that context you really don't need to dress like a professional to be deserving of professional wages; however, one could all ways stay at a holiday inn express

Oh and BTW, Nice PJ's MD11Fr8dog
