CDG and HKG will be an FDA domcile, just as SFS is now.
They will pay just like SFS pays Now. Again, the LOA doesn't amend sections 4, 12 and 25.

Don't have to ask...

CBA 4.F.2.b.v.

Designated Sort Facilities
For MPDP-E and MPDP-F, the designated sort facilities are MEM, IND, EWR, OAK, ORD, AFW and any additional sort facilities so designated by agreement between the SIG and the Vice President, Flight Operations. If the Company schedules FDA trips to domestic parameters as provided in Section 12.D.1.c., the primary sort facility for that FDA shall be a designated sort facility for purposes of MPDP-E and MPDP-F, on such trips.

12.D.1.c.iii

If the Company opens a new FDA to operate trips that are not in the European theater, the parties shall meet and discuss whether trips assigned to that base should be eligible for construction under Section 12.D.1.c. If the Company and the Association agree, trips in that new FDA may be constructed under Section 12.D.1.c.

Last time I checked HK is not in European Theater. This agreement should have been part of LOA.

I have and I encourage everyone to ask their block reps as well.

Many unknowns in this LOA and I'm not a trip rig expert, but I do understand MPDP-E = 6CH and the proposed FDAs are not on the magic list. And there has been no mention of adding them to the list.

Right now, without any other info, STV is beginning to look like a 30 day stint as an ACMI operator.

If ACMI pay provisions start in Paris and Hong Kong, where will they spread next?? Kinda' sounds like SARS..

Niether is Sydney what is your point? When SFS dies I suspect most of the SFS deals die to. Have the company and the association met and agreed to what parameters the New non European FDA schedules will be built?

How do they pay SFS crews now?

Again the LOA doesn't mention it so it doesn't change anything they are currently doing or will do with respect to pay.

No more...ok, one change...anything else?

Remember negotiations. Deals are negotiated. Neither side is allowed under RLA to say this is it, take it or leave. There has to be negotiation.

Yes, we are told, negotiations happened with our NC. Not sure what kind of stance they went in, with...but they came out with a turd.

Big picture is, there is a vocal group on the message board that may mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

We'll see when voting closes.
