Thanks for clarifying your earlier remarks. It's hard to truly understand people at times on this kind of forum.

What aircraft are you on?

Perhaps you missed the email from the former SCP where he said Mad Dogs are next?

I'm not so sure that the Navy has anything to do with this FedEx pilot voting the way he did. Let go man Top Gun is an old movie and your a grown up FedEx Pilot now! I don't think his vote was ment to pass muster for Navy pride but rather his choice as just one of 4700+ taking time to do the right thing and vote his opinion. IMHO...

Don't ask a guy who voted 'yes' why he did it. I've yet to find one who can actually explain himself. Their first defense is usually scope and RLA spin that 'someone' has brainwashed them with. I then counter that this LOA contains absolutely no more protection than sec. 1 already has concerning FDAs. If someone can prove me wrong there please explain it because I can't figure this one out.

Then they resort to the cry-baby "we have no leverage" argument. That to me is like letting the bully pick on you and doing nothing about it because he's bigger. Obviously we have some sort of leverage or else EVERYONE WOULDN"T BE SCRAMBLING TO GET US TO VOTE YES! AND THEY WOULDN"T BE PUTTING OUT FCIFs GOING BACK ON THEIR WORD ABOUT STV!

There are uninformed people on both sides of the fence here, it's just that I've yet to talk to a 'yes' voter who sounds like he has actually read the CBA or the LOA. Example: I had an LAX guy jumpseating to SFS the other night who tried to tell me that the 10,000 seed money is in addition to another 10 grand you get fromt he current Sec. 6 language. WTF?! I had to pull out my laptop and show him Sec. B. 2 of the LOA and Sec. 6 of the CBA to prove him otherwise.

Yes, people do have choices, like kicking your dog, pi$$ing on an electric fence, etc. A pretty narrow comment. You also have the choice to read all the info you can get your hands on about the LOA and make an informed choice as to your vote.

The problem is, I have heard or read almost nothing that suggests this LOA is decent.....in any aspect whatsoever. And most of the comments I have read from the yes guys just dont hold a lot of water, factually. Kinda like when some did a lot of extra flying doing negotiations or doing DP. Their rational was like swiss cheese. I am not saying yes voters did the things above, or vice versa.....just making an analogy.

USN is pretty new here....I think. Pretty good timing with the vote recently opening. I wonder what his real billet is.

Prez, you have done a major course reversal and gone to a full court press in favor. I am really curious.....why the turn around?

And, I believe with STV, come next negotiations, if FDA guys care to be home more than at work, we lose the leverage we had during the last negotiations. They can just send new guys out to fly any open time. I dont think that is a good thing.

IF there is any leverage it is now. It is quite evident that the company needs this LOA. How many of you "Yes" voters go into a car dealership and the salesman points at the window sticker and says that's the price and you just pay up?
